Welcome to Air Scouts UK
WHAT IS AIR SCOUTING? Air Scouting is about delivering an aviation content as part of the balanced programme for ALL Scout Association members. Additionally there are 'specialised' Air Scout Troops and Air Explorer Scouts in Units throughout the UK - and are a branch of Scouting, not a separate organisation. Air Scouting is for Scouts and Explorer Scouts who practise an aviation 'flavoured' form of Scouting. They still run a programme that involves all the elements of a Balanced Programme in the main Award and Challenge badge work, but they plan a certain part of their programme around Air Activities. This aim of this website is to provide YOU with information, ideas, links and downloadable resources useable by most age sections to help provide an interesting, varied and balanced Air Activity programmes either in your meeting place or near to you. In conjunction the Forums are a means to assist leadership teams to deliver Air Scouting and to support Air Scout Leaders, Instructors and Helpers
